OSLO developed the first tested grade 60 hung window system in the U.S. market. Over one hundred monumental units are installed throughout the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington D.C. We have produced hung sashes so large and heavy they had to be electric wench driven to lift them. Our newest and proudest development in this series is a totally hidden balance double hung w/ propriatorey balances milled into the sash jambs. They have our grade 60 weatherseal system and can be made with sashes up to 110 pounds, yet look delicate and traditional.  Wood choices include Mahogany, quarter-sawn Oak, and for a greener option ask for our roasted wood.(CLICK the GREEN label on OSLO’s homepage menu)
 
Technical Information:
100 percent memory, 24 weatherseals per double hung. Most any kind of hardware specified; Mahogany or Oak wood, custom factory finishes. Fixed Aluminum or wood frame screens or hidden roll screens. Any arch or round top or mulling combinations; any glazing; 7/8 inch three part muntin or 1 3/8 inch true divided lights.
